The 10th National Marine Renewable Energy Conference, organized by the Renewable Energy Syndicate, a long-standing partner of Bluesign & Seanergy, will be held on June 25, 2024, in Saint-Nazaire.
This year’s theme, « Ocean of Solutions: The Offshore Renewable Energy Industry in Service of Energy Sovereignty, » underscores the critical role of offshore wind and marine energies in Europe and France’s energy transition.
The conference will address ambitious EU carbon reduction targets, aiming for 60 GW of offshore wind and 1 GW of other marine renewables by 2030, and the challenges in achieving these goals. Key sessions will focus on marine spatial planning, industry strengthening, cybersecurity, and socio-economic impacts. The event will feature prominent industry and government leaders, with networking opportunities and discussions on the future of marine renewable energies.
